President and Chief Executive Officer
Steven Montross has served as our President and Chief Executive Officer since January 2009. Prior to joining CPI, Mr. Montross was a founding shareholder and Managing Director of FirstLight Financial Corporation, a business that invests senior debt capital in private-equity owned businesses, from 2007 to 2008. Prior to forming FirstLight, Montross had a 17-year career at General Electric Company, where he held positions of increasing responsibility and leadership within GE’s financial service businesses, including a business that financed private equity-owned enterprises. Mr. Montross holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan and a Masters of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Mr. Montross brings to the board extensive executive leadership experience, and, through his position as our Chief Executive Officer, he brings to the board management’s perspective over a full range of issues affecting the company.
Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Etzkorn has more than two decades of financial management experience. At Dana Incorporated, she was responsible for the global treasury operations of a $6 billion multi-national organization and previously led the creation and implementation of the global investor relations strategy. Prior to Dana Incorporated, Ms. Etzkorn spent nineteen years in financial positions of increasing responsibility at Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F), with deep experience in both operational and corporate finance. She served as the controller of Ford’s truck, SUV, and commercial vehicles and prior to that led the company’s global investor relations strategy. Additionally, she held other significant financial roles in corporate finance, profit and operations analysis and revenue. Ms. Etzkorn received her MBA in finance from the University of Michigan and her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Eastern Michigan University.
Chief Human Resources Officer
Lisa Jacoba has served as our Chief Human Resources Officer since June 2015. Prior to joining CPI, Ms. Jacoba was the SVP of Human Resources at Western Union Business Solutions in London, England. During her time at Western Union, she was responsible for making significant contributions to the company in all aspects of Human Resources, including M&A, HR integration, talent acquisition, employee engagement, organisational design, learning and development, performance management, employee benefits, and compensation programmes. Prior to this role, Ms. Jacoba specialized as the SVP of Global Talent Management in Denver, CO. Additionally, she performed various strategic senior HR management roles during her 20-year career at First Data. Ms. Jacoba holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management.
Chief Technology Officer
Jay Arbabha has served as our Chief Technology Officer since November 2016. Previously, Mr. Arbabha was an IBM Executive Advisor to one of IBM’s largest Financial Institutions Client. In his prior role he was a Technical Fellow, Principal Technologist for the Cyber Solutions Division of the Northrop Grumman leading advanced solutions for defense, intelligence, civil agency customers. In addition, he has led a series of successful Research and Development initiatives exploring the future technology landscape in Data Protection, Agile Defense, Trusted Cloud and innovative Secure Mobile Solutions. Prior to joining Northrop Grumman, he served as the Vice President for First Data where he led complex multi-year transformation programs, and operational teams responsible for the Global Data Centers capabilities. Mr. Arbabha is a graduate of Clarke University in Computer Science/Chemistry and holds a Master of Science in Systems Security Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
Chief Accounting Officer
Chris Bakke has served as Chief Accounting Officer since March 2016, and previously served as VP and Controller since joining CPI Card Group in November 2015. Mr. Bakke has over 20 years of experience in senior leadership roles in accounting and financial reporting, finance and operations. In his previous roles, he established and managed corporate accounting and financial reporting teams for large global and international companies, and led the finance due diligence and integration activities for large acquisitions. His earlier years were in Assurance and Advisory Business Services at Ernst & Young LLP. Mr. Bakke received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Sr. Vice President of Operations
Jason Bohrer has served as our Sr. Vice President of Operations since May 2016. Mr. Bohrer has over 20 years of global executive experience in a variety of operations, sales and program management roles. Mr. Bohrer most recently served as Vice President of Operations for HID Global, a company focused on secure identity solutions, where he led the operations footprint for the company including 10 different manufacturing and fulfillment sites across the globe. Responsibilities included production, manufacturing engineering, supply chain, quality, facilities and security functions. Previously, he also served in a number of operational roles at Motorola Inc. Mr. Bohrer received his bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and was also an inaugural member of the University of Chicago’s Executive Institute.
Managing Director of CPI Europe
Nicholas Cahn has served as Managing Director of CPI Europe since 2008. From 2000 to 2008, Mr. Cahn was Director of the Card Division for Oakhill plc and then Managing Director of PCC Services Ltd., before its acquisition in 2008 by CPI. Prior to this, he spent 15 years with Group Bull of France, serving as Director of International Sales in their smartcard division in Paris, Smartcard Business Unit Director in London, and Vice President of a joint venture with Dai Nippon Printing in Tokyo. Mr. Cahn holds a business studies degree from Thames Valley University and is an alumnus of Bull’s Executive Advanced Management Course and the European Executive Training Program in Japan.
Lane R. Dubin
Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Lane Dubin has served as our Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing since August 2016. Mr. Dubin has over 20 years’ experience as a global sales, client, and business development executive in the card, financial services and business travel industries. Most recently, he was the Head of Global Sales at American Express Global Business Travel, responsible for running a global organization focused on securing and managing the largest business travel accounts in the world, representing billions of dollars of travel volume. In his prior role he was Vice President, Business Development – North America, at American Express Global Business Travel where he oversaw and led activities for North America sales. Earlier in Mr. Dubin’s career, he held roles with increasing responsibility with American Express including; Vice President-Business Development, Financial Education Services for American Express Financial Advisors and Director of Sales and Business Development for Ketera Technologies, a technology start-up incubated by American Express. Mr. Dubin is a graduate of Ursinus College and holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration.
President of CPI Card Group — Canada
Anna Rossetti has served as the President of CPI Card Group—Canada since 2008. From 1999 to 2008, Ms. Rossetti held several positions with Giesecke & Devrient (Canada), including President from 2004 to 2008 and Senior Vice President and General Manager from 1999 to 2004. Prior to that, she worked with Equifax Canada, Bank of Nova Scotia and Bank of Montreal. Ms. Rossetti received her Bachelor's degree in Economics with honors from York University.
