How cpi Mobile™ Works
When an issuer requests to send a card to a mobile wallet, the cpi Mobile™ digital issuance platform transforms standard card account information into mobile-specific card data, encrypts it, and securely sends the card to the phone. Once the card is in the phone, the cpi Mobile™ on-device software protects the data, and manages the different smartphone hardware and software configurations to assure proper function during a mobile payment. The system also handles card lifecycle management, including updating and deleting the card.
Takes data from the issuer’s card management system and prepares it for mobile provisioning, performs tokenisation, assigns keys for dynamic data, and sends data securely to a specific mobile phone.
Actively manages the on-device software across all mobile deployments, updates card data at request of issuer, and provides data on card status.
Provides for security of payment credentials and the presentment of the credential via NFC or bar code, and binds the credentials to one or more mobile applications.
Provides for the protection of PAN data by generating tokens that are used on the phone and in the merchant payment systems.
